Adoption of XBRL as the main data format for the submission of company information. By using standards such as XBRL and software used by business, and reducing the information required to be reported, it should be possible to derive and send all reports directly from the businesses’ or their agent’s software. Standardised business reporting should have an effect of reducing the overall reporting burden and make reporting to Government a part of a natural system.
